We're in the lush green countryside of Scorzè, in the vicinity of Venice (21 km from the Antico Mulino), 30 km from Padua, and 17 km from Treviso, an ideal location for spending some relaxing time visiting art and culture, with food and wine tasting at the Osteria Perbacco, the hotel's restaurant, golf and horse riding.
A business center that is renowned for its mineral water (San Benedetto), motorcycles (this is the home of Aprilia, and the Piaggio group), glasswork designs (Firme di Vetro, Leucos), and fashion (Seventy Ca' da Mosto, Moncler, Henry Cotton's), Scorzè is an excellent starting point for visiting art towns and cities, as well as to discover the Strada del Prosecco, the sparkling white wine famous the world over, or the Strada del Radicchio Rosso di Treviso IGP (Scorzè is in fact a production area), the exquisite leafy greens with their unmistakable bitterish taste, not to mention the strawberries, asparagus and peas, all typical products from the vegetable gardens in the surrounding area and served up on the tables of the Osteria Perbacco, the Hotel Antico Mulino's refined restaurant.
Golf enthusiasts can challenge their skills on one of the most prestigious courses in the region of Veneto, the 18-hole Golf Club Ca' della Nave di Martellago, situated just 5 minutes away by car from the hotel. In just 20 minutes by train from Salzano (4 km from the Hotel Antico Mulino), visitors will find themselves immersed in the historic heart of Venice. From Santa Lucia station, walk or take a vaporetto to experience truly unique emotions among the enchanting narrow lanes and fascinating canals leading to Venice's most beautiful and most famous sites: St. Mark's square, the Rialto bridge, the Grand Canal, the Gallerie dell'Accademia, etc.
Padua
One of the most attractive and elegant cities in Veneto, situated just 30 km from the Hotel Antico Mulino, Padua is renowned for its historic squares: Piazza delle Erbe, Piazza della Frutta and Piazza dei Signori. The splendid Prato della Valle is one of Europe's largest squares. Don't miss: the Cappella degli Scrovegni, with frescoes by Giotto, and the Basilica di Sant'Antonio da Padova.

From Treviso's "San Giuseppe" airport
The airport in Treviso is just 12 km from the Hotel Antico Mulino. From the air terminal building, take the La Marca line bus for Padua and get off at the Scorzè Centro stop. From here, once you have advised us of your arrival, we can organize your transportation by taxi at the most reasonable prices.
From Venice's "Marco Polo" airport
The airport in Venice is just 22 km from the Hotel Antico Mulino. From the air terminal building, take the shuttle for Venezia Piazzale Roma; proceed on the ACTV 6E bus for Scorzè, then get off in the center of town. From here, once you have advised us of your arrival, we can organize your transportation by taxi at the most reasonable prices.
BY TRAIN
The train station at Salzano, the closest to the Hotel Antico Mulino, is just 4 km away. Arrive at Mestre station and take a regional train bound for Noale. Get off after about 20 minutes at Salzano – Robegano. From here, once you have advised us of your arrival, we can organize your transportation by taxi at the most reasonable prices.
BY CAR
From Brennero, take the A22 motorway, exit at Trento sud and take the Valsugana state road to Bassano del Grappa. From here, proceed for Castelfranco Veneto, and then Scorzè. Once in the town center of Scorzè, turn left in Via Moglianese and proceed for about 900 meters; the Hotel Antico Mulino is at no. 37.
From Belluno, take the A27 motorway, pass the toll and exit at Mogliano Veneto. Follow the signs for Mogliano Veneto Centro, and once in Mogliano continue along for Scorzè; when you're reached Via Moglianese Nuova, proceed for another 10 km. After the small town of Cappella, you'll find the Hotel Antico Mulino at no. 37 in Via Moglianese.
From Trieste, Milan and Bologna, take the A4 motorway and exit at Mestre, then get on the Tangenziale ring road and exit at Castellana. Follow the signs for Scorzè – Castelfranco Veneto. Once in the town center of Scorzè, turn left in Via Moglianese and proceed for about 900 meters; the Hotel Antico Mulino is at no. 37.
