The pride and joy of the Hotel Antico Mulino is without a doubt its restaurant Osteria Vineria Perbacco, renowned not only in the area of Scorzè and Venice, but also reviewed and appraised by Italy’s most noted good food and wine restaurant guides, such as the Michelin Guide, Gambero Rosso, Slow Food, etc. An informal but elegant ambience defines a pleasantly intimate atmosphere, perfect for a business lunch or pleasurable candlelit dinner on the terrace overlooking the river. Seasons and traditions define the typical cuisine of Veneto and menu of Venetian specialties proposed, with special attention to local dishes prepared with radicchio rosso, peas and strawberries among the large variety of fresh vegetables and fruit, and fish from the lagoon and sea of Venice, with schie (shrimp from the lagoon), sardines and cuttlefish being the most popular. Meat dishes retrace traditional preparations with new and innovative accents, with the ubiquitous musetto (small pork sausage) served with mashed potatoes, and the classic sliced steak filet served with vegetables. The wine card is truly special: 400 Italian and 50 foreign labels (French, Australian and Chilean) to choose from, exalting and ennobling the flavors and aromas of each dish with classic reds and whites, either in confirming expectations or experimenting new emotions with unusual choices.
